Safe, effective moving and handling techniques
Learners will understand how to assess, plan, and carry out safe people-handling tasks using correct posture, technique, and communication.

• Legal responsibilities under MHOR 1992
• Anatomy, posture, and injury prevention
• Risk assessment and control measures
• Using hoists, slings, and other handling equipment safely
• Working as a team to move or reposition individuals
• Maintaining dignity and comfort for service users
