About Ray
Hi, I’m Ray Duell, founder of Duell Training Associates and Influence360 Training & Consultancy. My career began in Hospitality Management, working in five-star establishments where I learned first-hand the importance of professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional customer service. That early experience shaped everything I do today — combining practical industry knowledge with a genuine passion for helping people learn, grow, and stay safe in their roles. Over the years, I’ve worked with hundreds of businesses across the UK, from small independents to national brands, providing high-quality, accredited training that meets real workplace needs.
My Approach
Training should be engaging, relevant, and make a difference.
I believe that training is most effective when it feels personal and practical. That’s why every session is designed around the people in the room — blending real-life examples, open discussion, and interactive learning.
Whether it’s a first aid course, a food safety qualification, or a mental health awareness session, My goal is simple: to make sure every learner leaves feeling confident, valued and reflecting on their role at work so that they are the reason someone stays safe.
Life outside the classroom
Away from work, I enjoy exploring the natural world — from the high Andes of Colombia to the deserts of Morocco. I’m a keen tennis player, love staying active at the gym, and enjoy exploring new cultures and cuisines.
These interests keep me balanced, motivated, and constantly learning — values that I bring into my training every day.
